Application areas
This drug is a nasal agent (rhinological agent) and contains alpha-sympathomimetic xylometazoline.

Application areas:
To relieve nasal congestion in colds, runny nose (vasomotor rhinitis), allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).
To facilitate the discharge of secretions in inflammation of the nasal sinuses, as well as in catarrh of the tubular middle ear due to rhinitis.
The medicine is intended for adults and schoolchildren.
Dosage
For adults and schoolchildren, up to the required amount. One spray. is administered into each nostril 3 times a day.
The medicine is suitable for school-age children from 6 years old and adults. It should not be used in children under 6 years old.
Preparations with 0.05% xylometazoline hydrochloride are available for children aged 2 to 6 years, and preparations with 0.025% xylometazoline hydrochloride are available for infants and toddlers.
Duration of use
The medicine should not be used for more than 7 days unless prescribed by a doctor.
It should be reused only after a break of several days.
Due to the risk of wrinkling the nasal mucosa, use in chronic colds can only be carried out under medical supervision. If you feel that the effect is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Do not use this medicine
if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to xylometazoline or any of the other ingredients,
if you have a certain form of chronic rhinitis (sicca rhinitis)
for status after surgical removal of the pineal gland through the nose (transsphenoidal hypophysectomy) or other surgical procedures that expose the meninges
in children under 6 years of age.
When using the medicine with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking / using or have recently taken / used , even if these are over-the-counter medicines.
If the medicine and certain drugs that improve mood (MAO inhibitors such as tranylcypromine or tricyclic antidepressants) and drugs that increase blood pressure are used at the same time, affect the heart and circulatory functions, an increase in blood pressure occurs.”
