“Directions
Acmed Cream is a new 20% azelaic acid, effective in patients suffering from any type of acne, both in the acute phase and in maintenance therapy, with a better tolerability profile than benzoyl peroxide. Azelaic acid is currently one of the most effective treatments for acne vulgaris, especially mild to moderate forms, as well as rosacea.
Acmed is running a promotion
antibacterial (especially against Propionibacterium Acnes)
inhibitory activity against keratinocyte proliferation
anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity (against free radicals)
activity in reducing the content of free fatty acids in skin surface lipids (less oily skin)
depigmenting action, useful for effectively combating skin spots caused by acne.
Compared to other topical acne treatments, azelaic acid is not photosensitizing, so it can be used even in the summer months. The first results of using Acmed cream can be seen after two months of treatment, but, as a rule, it is necessary to continue using the cream to achieve complete remission of signs and symptoms of acne. Acmed™ C rema does not contain fragrances.
