• Product description:
  Octenisept is a disinfectant liquid with bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effects. The preparation is intended for disinfecting wounds, superficial wounds, mucous membranes and skin.
• Ostenisept liquid – active substances:

octenidine dihydrochloride,
phenoxyethanol.
Octenidine dihydrochloride belongs to cationic-active compounds and acts on the surface of wounds and skin. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses, including drug-resistant ones. It does not lose its effectiveness under the influence of protein loads (e.g. blood, exercise), while showing high tissue and systemic tolerance. At the same time, phenoxyethanol complements the scope of action of octenidine dihydrochloride, but in the deeper layers of the skin and mucous membranes.

The microbiological effectiveness of the drug has been confirmed in both laboratory and clinical studies – it appears after 1 minute of using the liquid (destruction of microorganisms and inactivation of viruses), and lasts for an hour after its use. Octenisept thus ensures safety when performing diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures.

Octenisept in spray ensures painless application. It is recommended to use it at every dressing change by applying it directly to the skin. The liquid can be used to rinse the oral cavity (including those with aphthae and in the case of irritation caused by wearing an orthodontic appliance or dentures) or together with the vaginal applicator, to treat inflammation of intimate areas, as well as to disinfect diseased skin. The medicinal product can also be used in pediatrics, for the care of the umbilical stump, as well as for disinfection of the oral cavity. Octenisept is suitable for use in adults and children of all ages.

• Composition:
  100 g of liquid contains:

active substances: octenidine dihydrochloride (Octenidinum dichydrochloridum) 0.10 g and phenoxyethanol (Phenoxyethanolum) 2.00 g,
other ingredients: cocamidopropyl betaine solution 30% or 38% (amidopropylcoconut dimethylammonium acetate, sodium chloride, water), sodium D-gluconate, glycerol 85%, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
