“Characteristics
The Dermovitamin Scar Gel, when applied to the surface of scars, forms a thin film that acts by a dual mechanism:
It forms a protective film that isolates scar tissue from the external environment and reduces the risk of visible hypertrophic scarring, counteracting and weakening the formation of keloids.
Regulates the physiological hydration of scar tissue, implementing a non-occlusive mechanical barrier effect, ensuring fluid exchange that promotes the normalization of damaged tissue. This ensures the maintenance of the necessary level of hydration. Particularly suitable for scars caused by: surgical operations, accidental wounds, burns, acne, stretch marks.
Components
cyclopentaiutoxane, dimethicone, dimethiconol, vinyl dimethyl / trimethyloxysilicate / dimethicone crosspolymer, silicon dioxide dimethylsilicate, tocopheryl acetate.
Directions for use
Using this gel at least two to three times a day softens the raised areas, helping to smooth them out and reduce the feeling of dryness and itching of the scar. Apply the product to intact skin, in the scar formation phase or to an existing scar. Leave the product to dry for a few minutes. A thin film will form. Repeat the operation 2-3 times a day for at least 2 months for newly formed scars or for their prevention. Use the product for 3-6 months for old scars.”
