Warnings
In case of fever, lower abdominal pain, back pain, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, nausea, vaginal bleeding and/or shoulder pain, the clinical picture should be re-evaluated. Recurrent infections that return within 2 months may be secondary to conditions such as diabetes or HIV infection, which require careful clinical testing. It is preferable to start and stop treatment in the intermenstrual period. Tampons, vaginal douches, spermicides or other vaginal devices should not be used during therapy with VAGISIL ANTIMYCOTICO. Recommend abstinence from vaginal intercourse, since the infection may be transmitted to the partner. In addition, to avoid reinfection, especially in the presence of candidal vulvitis or balanitis, local treatment of the partner is recommended. During treatment with VAGISIL ANTIMIKOTIKO, the efficacy and safety of latex-based products such as condoms and diaphragms may be reduced. The use, especially long-term, of topical agents may lead to sensitization phenomena. In this case, it is necessary to stop treatment and take appropriate therapeutic measures. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow. Important information about some excipients. This medicine contains cetostearyl alcohol: it can cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
