indication

The medicine contains two active substances: fluorouracil and salicylic acid.
Fluorouracil belongs to a certain group of medicines called antimetabolites that inhibit cell growth (cytostatics). Salicylic acid is a substance that softens hard skin.
The medicinal product is a solution for the treatment of actinic keratoses (grade I/II) in adult patients with a healthy immune system.
Actinic keratoses appear as small crusty, scaly, or rough patches of skin. The patches may be red, tan, or the same color as the rest of the skin. They can feel dry and rough and are sometimes easier to feel than see.
Such skin changes generally occur in people who have been exposed to intense sunlight.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, this medicine is used once a day.
If you have actinic keratoses in the area of ​​thin skin, e.g. B. around the eyes and temples, your doctor may advise you to use this medicine less often. If severe side effects occur, reduce dosing frequency to three times per week until side effects improve. More frequent treatment control by your doctor may also be necessary.

Indikation

Das Arzneimittel enthält zwei Wirkstoffe: Fluorouracil und Salicylsäure.
Fluorouracil gehört zu einer bestimmten Gruppe von Arzneimitteln, den so genannten Antimetaboliten, die das Zellwachstum hemmen (Zytostatika). Salicylsäure ist eine Substanz, die harte Haut weicher macht.
Das Arzneimittel ist eine Lösung zur Behandlung von aktinischen Keratosen (Grad I/II) bei erwachsenen Patienten mit gesundem Immunsystem.
Aktinische Keratosen treten in Form kleiner krustiger, schorfiger oder rauer Hautstellen auf. Die Stellen können rot oder hellbraun sein oder die gleiche Farbe wie die übrige Haut haben. Sie können sich trocken und rau anfühlen und sind manchmal leichter tastbar als sichtbar.
Zu derartigen Hautveränderungen kommt es im Allgemeinen bei Personen, die intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt waren.

Kontraindikation

Das Arzneimittel darf nicht angewendet werden,

Wenn bei Ihnen aktinische Keratosen im Bereich dünner Haut auftreten z. B. um die Augen und an den Schläfen, rät Ihr Arzt Ihnen vielleicht dazu, dieses Arzneimittel weniger oft anzuwenden. Wenn schwere Nebenwirkungen auftreten, reduzieren Sie die Häufigkeit der Anwendung auf dreimal pro Woche, bis eine Besserung der Nebenwirkungen eintritt. Eine häufigere Behandlungskontrolle durch Ihren Arzt kann ebenfalls nötig sein.
