Indications
Acular is used in adults to prevent and treat inflammation in the eyeball following cataract surgery.
Contraindications
Acular should not be used if you are allergic to ketorolac, benzalkonium chloride or other ingredients of the drug. Hypersensitivity to other NSAIDs, e.g. acetylsalicylic acid, is also a contraindication.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Acular can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Side effects on the surface of the eye (cornea) are more likely if the drops are used for more than 2 weeks, or if you use ophthalmic corticosteroids at the same time, or have other eye conditions.

Acular stosowany jest u osob doroslych w profilaktyce i leczeniu stanu zapalnego w obrebie galki ocznej, wystepujacego w nastepstwie chirurgicznego usuniecia zacmy.
Przeciwwskazania
Acularu nie powinno sie stosowac w przypadku uczulenia na ketorolak, chlorek benzalkoniowy lub inne skladniki leku. Nadwrazliwosc na inne NLPZy np. kwas acetylosalicylowy rowniez jest przeciwwskazaniem.
Dzialania niepozadane
Jak kazdy lek, Acular moze wywolac dzialania niepozadane, chociaz nie u kazdego one wystapia.
Skutki uboczne w obrebie powierzchni oka (rogowki) sa bardziej prawdopodobne jesli krople sa stosowane ponad 2 tygodnie lub jednoczesnie stosowane sa kortykosteroidy dooczne lub wystepuja inne schorzenia oka.
