What does the Airmax nasal dilator do? The Airmax is a nasal dilator, also known as a nose clip, that expands the narrow points of the nose so that airflow is improved when inhaling and exhaling. It works best when inhaling with the nose and exhaling with the mouth. Independent research has shown that it increases airflow by up to 176%. This means the lungs receive more oxygen. Airmax was developed by ear, nose, and throat doctors and aviation engineers, with the aim being optimal air flow.
How does the Airmax work? The Airmax expands the nostrils by squeezing the inner nasal walls apart. The narrowest area of the nose is spread, so that more air can pass through the nose. The way the Airmax works is therefore unique. It acts immediately against nasal congestion. The Airmax is therefore a particularly efficient nasal dilator.
Why Airmax? Snoring is caused by nasal problems in 75% of all cases and these problems are, in turn, usually the result of constriction of the nasal passages.
