- Indications
- Altacet is applied topically to the skin: in bruises; in joint and post-traumatic swelling; in swelling caused by 1st degree burns. Altacet gel contains aluminum acetate tartrate and when applied to the skin has an astringent and anti-edematous effect, relieving pain. The addition of menthol has a cooling effect.
- Contraindications
- if you are allergic to the active substance aluminum acetate tartrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- Orally; in case of extensive wounds; on damaged skin and skin areas with visible eczema; on infected skin; long-term; in children under 3 years of age.
