Polaramin 1% Cream helps reduce allergy symptoms by blocking the action of a substance called histamine, which is produced by the human body when you suffer from allergies.
The cream acts as an antihistamine directly on the skin, suppressing redness, burning and itching. This medicine is used for the topical treatment of symptoms of pruritic dermatitis (skin conditions that cause itching), sunburn (redness characterized by itching, pain, burning sensation and the presence of blisters after excessive sun exposure) and dog bites.

Method of administration and dosage
Apply the cream to the affected area with light massaging movements to ensure deep penetration 2-3 times a day, depending on the intensity of the inflammatory symptom.

Warnings
Polaramin 1% cream is not intended for ophthalmological use. Polaramin 1% cream is well tolerated, but its use, especially with prolonged use, may cause sensitization phenomena, as with all products for topical use. In this case, suspend treatment and prescribe appropriate therapy. Avoid application to very large areas in the presence of abrasions, to avoid systemic absorption. When absorbed, it can cause excitability, especially in children. Do not apply to exuding surfaces, live ulcers, blistered skin areas, genitals, mucous membranes. Exposure of the treated areas to the sun may cause photosensitization phenomena. Stop using Polaramin 1% cream if you experience a burning sensation or rash, or if the original condition persists, or if irritation develops. Avoid occlusive dressings. Antihistamines should be discontinued approximately 48 hours before performing the patch test, as these drugs may prevent or reduce positive reactions. The product contains: cetyl alcohol, ethoxylated lanolin ethers, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use the product only if clearly needed and under direct medical supervision.”
