Bilobil Intense is a medicinal product that improves circulation and supplies the brain with oxygen and glucose.

• Composition:
• Active substance: Ginkgo biloba folium leaf extract

1 capsule contains 120 mg of extract (in the form of quantified, purified dry extract) from Ginkgo biloba folium (ginkgo leaves) (35-67: 1), which corresponds to: 26.4-32.4 mg of flavonoids in the form of flavone glycosides, 3.36 to 4.08 mg (6%) – 7.2 mg of ginkgolides A, B, C, 3.12-3.84 mg of bilobalide. First extraction solvent: acetone 60% (m/m).

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, talc, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, capsule shell: black iron oxide (E172), red iron oxide (E172), yellow iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E171), gelatin; air-dried liquid glucose.

1 capsule contains 188.1 mg lactose and 6 mg glucose.

• Indications:

Bilobil Intense is indicated in patients with the following symptoms:

age-related memory and mental impairment,
as an adjunct in cerebral circulation disorders (with symptoms of dizziness, tinnitus),
as an adjunct in patients performing the recommended exercise program in the treatment of non-specific peripheral vascular disease with symptoms of intermittent claudication.
Properties:

Bilobil Intense improves circulation and supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain. Improved cerebral blood flow protects cells and tissues from damage caused by oxygen deficiency and counteracts age-related mental decline. Improved peripheral circulation counteracts symptoms associated with weakened blood supply to the limbs.

• Dosage:

This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults: 2 capsules daily (one capsule in the morning and one in the evening).

The capsules should be swallowed with water.

Can be taken regardless of meals.
Significant signs of improvement usually appear after 3 weeks of taking the medicine. If symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 30 days of using the preparation, consult your doctor.
It is possible to extend the treatment to 3 months if the patient’s condition allows it.
Use with other medicines:

Tell your doctor about all medicines you are currently taking or have recently taken, as well as medicines you plan to take.

Bilobil Intense may interact with:

acetylsalicylic acid,
anticoagulants.

Contraindications:

• Adverse reactions:

Like all drugs, this drug can cause adverse reactions, although not everyone will experience them.

Very rare adverse reactions:

gastrointestinal disorders,
headaches,
skin hypersensitivity reactions (itching, erythema).

• Warnings:

Ginkgo extracts prolong bleeding time; caution should be exercised in people with a tendency to bleed.

In the case of a planned surgical or dental procedure, it is recommended to stop administering the product at least 36 hours before the planned procedure.
