How to Use

• Dissolve one sachet in 200 ml of warm, boiled water (use the included measuring cup), stir well, and cool before use. Do not sweeten.

• Moderate dehydration: Give 50–100 ml per kg over the same period.

• Maintenance: Offer 5–10 ml per kg after each retained stool or vomiting episode

Action
ORSALIT® is a food product for special medical purposes intended for the dietary treatment of dehydration, especially diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration. ORSALIT® replenishes fluids and minerals in cases of water and electrolyte imbalance.

Dosage
The dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor’s recommendations. It is generally recommended to administer 50–100 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg of body weight in the first 4 hours and an additional 5–10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. In the next stage of hydration, it is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of rehydration fluid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. ORSALIT® should not be used by people suffering from intestinal obstruction or hemodynamic shock.
