“Ingredients:
Glucose, citrate, chloride, sodium, potassium.
The product contains sugar. ORSALIT SENIOR is a gluten-free product, does not contain milk protein and lactose.

Properties and purpose:
ORSALIT SENIOR – indicated for the dietary treatment of dehydration in older people, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration, such as during heat, exercise or illness with fever.
ORSALIT SENIOR supplements fluids and minerals in cases of water and electrolyte imbalance.
The product does not contain any flavoring additives, so it can also be used by people prone to allergies.
The product must be used under medical supervision.

Use:
The dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor’s recommendations.
It is generally recommended to administer 50–100 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg of body weight in the first 4 hours and an additional 5–10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
In the next stage of hydration, it is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of rehydration fluid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
Example of dosage of ORSALIT SENIOR:
HYDRATION PHASE (first 3-4 hours of hydration) and HYDRATION MAINTENANCE PHASE (further stages of hydration): 3-8 sachets are dissolved according to recommendations (600-1600 ml).
Dissolve 1 sachet as recommended (200 ml) after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.

Contraindications:
Allergy to any ingredient of the drug, intestinal obstruction, or severe dehydration requiring intravenous hydration.
