Active ingredients:
Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg
Cetirizine 8.42 mg
Excipients:
Microcrystalline cellulose, Lactose-1-water, Lactose 77.7 mg, Magnesium stearate, Highly dispersed silicon dioxide, Hypromellose, Macrogol 4000, Titanium dioxide
Areas of application
The drug is an antiallergic drug.
The drug is indicated for adults and children aged 6 years and older for:
Relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
Relief of urticaria (hives).
Dosage
Adults and young people over 12 years of age
10 mg once a day as 1 film-coated tablet.
Children aged 6 to 12 years
5 mg twice daily as 1/2 film-coated tablet twice daily.
Patients with renal impairment
Patients with moderate renal impairment are recommended to take 5 mg as 1/2 film-coated tablet once daily.
If you have severe kidney disease, talk to your doctor or pharmacist who can adjust your dose accordingly.
Contraindications
You should not take this medicine
if you have severe kidney disease (severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min).
if you are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives (closely related active ingredients in other medicines) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.”
