• Dexak SL is a painkiller belonging to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
• Composition:

The drug contains dexketoprofen.

• Indications:

Dexak SL is used for short-term, symptomatic treatment of acute pain of mild to moderate intensity, e.g. acute muscle or joint pain, painful menstruation, toothache.

• Dosage:

Orally. Always take the drug as directed by your doctor. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water and stir well to facilitate dissolution. The resulting solution should be drunk immediately after preparation. In case of acute pain, when faster action is needed, it is recommended to take the drug on an empty stomach (at least 15 minutes before a meal), which will result in faster absorption of the drug.

• Storage:

Store at room temperature.

• Possible side effects:

Common: nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion.
Uncommon: vertigo, dizziness, drowsiness, sleep disorders, nervousness, headaches, palpitations, flushing, stomach disorders, constipation, dry mouth, flatulence, rash, fatigue, pain, feeling of fever and chills, malaise. Rare: stomach ulcer, bleeding or perforation of peptic ulcer, which may manifest as vomiting blood or black stools, fainting, hypertension, slow breathing, water retention in the limbs and peripheral edema, loss of appetite, abnormal sensation, itchy rash, acne, increased sweating, back pain, increased urination, menstrual disorders, prostate disorders, abnormal liver function tests, renal dysfunction.
