Application
The recommended dosage depends on body weight and age:
20 to 29 kg (children from 6 to 9 years old).
Single dose: half a Dolormin® Extra film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose: 1 1/2 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 600 mg ibuprofen).
30 to 39 kg (children aged 10 to 11 years)
Single dose: half a Dolormin® Extra film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose: 2 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 800 mg ibuprofen).
over 40 kg (adolescents aged 12 years and older and adults)
Single dose: half to a whole Dolormin® Extra film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200–400 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen).
If necessary, another single dose can be taken every 6 hours.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be taken:
– If you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
– If you have experienced shortness of breath, asthma attacks, swelling of the nasal mucosa, swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (angioedema) or skin reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-al anti-inflammatory drugs in the past.
– If you have unexplained blood disorders.
– If you have had stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding) repeatedly or repeatedly in the past.
– A history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation (perforation) related to previous therapy with non-al anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
– If you have had bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular haemorrhage) or other active bleeding.
– If you have severe liver or kidney disease.
– in severe heart failure (heart failure).
– If you suffer from severe water shortage (dehydration), vomiting, diarrhea or too little fluid intake.
– If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
– For children under 20 kg (6 years), as this dose level is not suitable due to the active substance content.”
