Pelargonium sidoides root extract (1:8-10); Extraction agent: Ethanol 11% (m/m) 800 mg
Excipients:
Ethanol 104 325 mg
Glycerin 85%
Scope of application
Umckaloabo is used for the symptomatic treatment of acute bronchitis.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
infants aged 1 to 5 years
morning, afternoon, evening: 10 drops
Children aged 6 to 12 years
morning, noon, evening: 20 drops
adults and adolescents from 12 years
morning, noon, evening: 30 drops
It is advisable to continue treatment with Umckaloabo for several days after the symptoms of the disease have subsided in order to avoid relapse. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.
Contraindications
Umckaloabo should not be used in case of increased tendency to bleeding and concomitant use of anticoagulants.
The drug should not be taken
