Lorenil treatment of candidiasis of the mucous membranes of the genital organs (vulvovaginitis, affected, infectious fluor).
Method of administration and dosage
1 soft vaginal capsule 200 mg in the evening before bedtime for 3 days or as prescribed by a doctor.
If symptoms persist, the second dose can be repeated after three days.
Soft capsules should be inserted deep into the vagina to the level of the fornix.
Warnings
The use, especially long-term, of topical agents can lead to sensitization phenomena.
With intravaginal administration, a moderate burning sensation may be felt, which quickly passes.

Side effects
Lorenil is generally well tolerated by the mucous membranes; only in exceptional cases have mild and transient erythematous reactions been reported.
In case of hypersensitivity reactions or the development of resistant microorganisms, treatment should be discontinued.
Lorenil is poorly absorbed under the recommended conditions of use, so systemic effects can be excluded.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Although the absorption of the drug is poor, the use of Lorenil during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended, except in special cases and after careful assessment by the doctor of the benefit/risk ratio.
