Vasesal 20 is a keratolytic ointment that promotes keratolytic removal of hyperkeratotic layers of the skin. 20% salicylic acid promotes thinning of the stratum corneum due to chemical action on hyperkeratotic areas.
It is indicated as a preparatory treatment for cryotherapeutic interventions. It can be used as a keratolytic agent for warts, psoriatic plaques, calloused skin plaques, actinic keratoses, ichthyosis.
