Vulnamin is a non-animal cream that can be used as an adjuvant to facilitate the healing of wounds that cannot be treated with sutures and that have damaged the dermis, such as chronic ulcerative wounds and pressure ulcers. It promotes faster tissue regeneration and maintains ideal moisture conditions, promoting re-epithelialization of skin lesions.
Vulnamin is an invasive medical device manufactured in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD; it is intended to promote the process of cellular reintegration and accelerate wound healing. Through its action, it promotes the reconstruction of connective tissue and the subsequent regeneration of epithelial cells.
Unlike many astringents that cause vasoconstriction, soaps that can usually cause swelling or dehydration, or alcohol rubs that can cause harm by removing fats from the skin tissue, making the skin drier and more prone to cracking, Vulnamin cream helps eliminate necrotic tissue and protects the integrity of the skin. Keep the lesion under constant observation. The interval between dressing changes depends significantly on the condition of the wound. Initially, daily changes may be necessary. After a few days, the interval between dressing changes can be increased to a maximum of 3 days.

Method of administration and dosage
Apply a layer of cream proportionate to the size of the wound. In case of ulceration, apply the dressing with varying frequency depending on the size of the wound and the rate of absorption of Vulnamin.

Storage
Vulnamin cream should be stored at a temperature of 8°C to 30°C. Do not refrigerate. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and heat.

Warnings
Before taking any medication, wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material with saline solution by spraying it from the inside of the wound outwards. After cleaning the wound, you can wipe the wound with sterile gauze to remove excess blood. If the lesion does not require further intervention, apply Vulnamine after cleaning the wound to speed up the healing process.
Hypersensitivity to the components has been confirmed. Overdose phenomena are unknown. Interaction with drugs and medicinal substances is unknown. Vulnamine is a drug characterized by high tolerability, however, local reactions may rarely occur due to hypersensitivity phenomena, which disappear spontaneously. However, it is recommended to consult a doctor in case of simultaneous pharmacological treatment and / or prolonged use for more than 6 weeks.
Although side effects are unknown, in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, use is advisable only at the discretion of a doctor.
