• Ginkofar Intense is a drug containing a quantified extract of ginkgo biloba leaves. This substance improves blood flow in the brain, prevents platelet aggregation, and also has a significant effect on the expansion of blood vessels. The drug will therefore prove useful in cases of ischemia and dementia.
• Ginkofar Intense is also used for tinnitus in adults. It should be stored out of reach of children. Opinions about Ginkofar Intense directly indicate that it is a substance that has a healing effect, actually supporting people with a mild course of dementia.
• Composition
  The active substance of the drug is a dry extract of ginkgo leaf (Ginkgo biloba L., folium) (35-67: 1).

1 tablet of Polwekan contains 120 mg of dry extract with the following active substances:

26.4 to 32.4 mg of flavonoids expressed as flavone glycosides,
3.36 to 4.08 mg of ginkgolides A, B and C,
3.12 to 3.84 mg of bilobalide,
Excipients:

• Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica

Tablet coating: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 3000, yellow iron oxide (E 172), talc

Dosage

The recommended dose of Ginkofar Intense for adults is 1 tablet taken twice daily (preferably in the morning and evening).
Ginkofar Intense is taken orally, regardless of meals, with water. The score line on the tablet only facilitates crushing for easier swallowing.

• Contraindications
  When not to use Ginkofar Intense:

if the patient is allergic to ginkgo biloba leaf extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
if the patient is pregnant.
