“Compound
The active substance is a silymarin-phospholipid complex containing 30% flavonolignans, expressed in silybin, and 1.5% phosphorus.
1 film-coated tablet contains 100 mg of the complex.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose with colloidal silica 2%, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide, indigo carmine varnish (E 132), quinoline yellow varnish (E 104).
Dosage
The usual dose of Essilimar for adults is 1 tablet 3 times a day. In acute conditions, the dose can be doubled.
The medicine should be taken after meals.
Action
The drug stabilizes and normalizes the functions of liver cells. It is traditionally used for its suggested indications and its effectiveness is based only on long-term use and experience.
Indications
Essilimar is used as an adjuvant for liver dysfunction.
