“Compound
Active ingredient: African plum bark extract (Pruni africanae corticis extractum censusum).
1 tablet contains 46 mg of African plum bark extract.
Excipients: calcium phosphate, potato starch, sucrose, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide, sunset yellow lake E 110.
Dosage
Adults: 2 tablets orally twice daily with meals for at least 4 weeks.
If necessary, treatment can be repeated.
Action
Poldanene is used in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia in the early stages of the disease to relieve symptoms such as: frequent urination, the need to urinate at night, difficulty urinating, drip urination.
Indications
Poldanene is used in men with difficulty urinating due to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Contraindications
When not to use Poldanen:
in case of hypersensitivity to African plum bark extract or to plants of the Rosaceae family or to any of the other ingredients of the drug;
in patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Poldanene can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
When using Poldanen, gastrointestinal disorders may occur (it is recommended to take the drug with meals).
Warnings and Precautions
Before using Poldanene, discuss its use with your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
The diagnosis of prostatic hyperplasia must be made by a urologist.
Poldanene does not suppress prostatic hyperplasia, but only reduces the symptoms associated with it.
If your symptoms worsen or new ones appear during use, you notice blood in your urine, or you experience sudden urinary retention, you should consult a doctor immediately.
Poldanene contains sucrose (in patients with intolerance to some sugars) and sunset yellow E 110 (may cause allergic reactions).
Poldanen should be stored at temperatures below 25°C.
