inVag, 14 vaginal capsules is a medicine containing live cultures of lactic acid bacteria.
Action
The active substance of the drug is live lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus fermentum 57A, Lactobacillus plantarum 57B, Lactobacillus gasseri 57C.
A clinical study has shown that the drug is safe and that the bacteria in its composition colonize the vaginal epithelium.
Its action is to maintain microbiological balance in the genitourinary system and prevent the development of infections.
Indications
The drug is recommended to be used:
- in the prevention of urinary tract infections:
- during and after treatment with antibiotics and other antibacterial, antitrichomonal and antifungal drugs,
- during menopause and after childbirth,
- as a preventive measure in all situations where the vaginal microbiome balance is disturbed (e.g. improper hygiene habits, contraception),
- as a supportive treatment for vaginal inflammation (vaginal infections), during and after treatment with antibiotics, other antibacterial and/or antifungal drugs (including during the treatment of vaginal discharge).
Contraindications
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus fermentum 57A, Lactobacillus plantarum 57B, Lactobacillus gasseri 57C or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
