What is Ketonal Active used for? Ketonal Active is indicated for relieving, for example, headache, muscle and bone-joint pain, toothache, menstrual pain or pain accompanying minor injuries. The active substance is ketoprofen.

One hard capsule contains 50 mg of ketoprofen.

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica. Capsule: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), patent blue (E 131).

Ketonal Active 30 capsules are taken orally.

Adolescents over 15 years of age, adults: 1 capsule every 8 hours. Do not exceed 3 capsules per day.

The capsules can be taken with water or milk, as well as with antacids (this reduces the harmful effect on the gastrointestinal tract). Ketonal is best taken with meals – this reduces the risk of stomach irritation.
