pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action – antiulcer.
Specifically inhibits the activity of H + K + ATPase in the parietal cells of the stomach (proton pump).

Pharmacodynamics

It inhibits the last stage of the formation of hydrochloric acid, inhibits basal and stimulated (regardless of the type of inductor) secretion of hydrochloric acid.

Indications

Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, peptic ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, acid dyspepsia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, malignant processes.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Only if necessary.

Side effects

Visual disturbance, peripheral edema, increased sweating, fever, arthralgia, myalgia, muscle weakness, headache, agitation, insomnia or drowsiness, depression, hallucinations (in susceptible patients), dry mouth, taste disturbance, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, stomatitis, bronchospasm, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, erythema multiforme, urticaria.

Rarely – dizziness, increased activity of liver enzymes, skin rash, itching. Negative effects are mild and transient.

Hinweise

Magen- und Zwцlffingerdarmgeschwьr, durch Helicobacter pylori verursachtes Magengeschwьr, Refluxцsophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison-Syndrom, saure Dyspepsie.

Kontraindikationen

Ьberempfindlichkeit, bцsartige Prozesse.

Anwendung wдhrend der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit

Nur wenn nцtig.

Nebenwirkungen

Sehstцrungen, periphere Цdeme, vermehrtes Schwitzen, Fieber, Arthralgie, Myalgie, Muskelschwдche, Kopfschmerzen, Unruhe, Schlaflosigkeit oder Benommenheit, Depression, Halluzinationen (bei anfдlligen Patienten), Mundtrockenheit, Geschmacksstцrungen, Bauchschmerzen, Durchfall, Verstopfung, Stomatitis, Bronchospasmus, Leukopenie, Thrombozytopenie, Erythema multiforme, Urtikaria.

Selten – Schwindel, erhцhte Aktivitдt von Leberenzymen, Hautausschlag, Juckreiz. Negative Wirkungen sind mild und vorьbergehend.
