Active ingredients
promethazine hydrochloride 2.255 g, which corresponds to 2.0 g of promethazine. Excipient with known action: parahydroxybenzoates. For a full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
Excipients
white beeswax, liquid paraffin, stearic acid, glycerol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, triethanolamine, purified water.
Directions
Antihistamine drug Mystic is indicated for the local symptomatic treatment of insect bites and other localized skin irritations such as redness, burning, itching and sunburn.
Method of administration and dosage
Apply the cream 2-3 times a day to the affected area. Avoid applying to very large areas exceeding 10% of the body surface. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Warnings
Long-term and incorrect use of the drug may lead to allergic sensitization with subsequent worsening of symptoms. In this case, treatment should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted to prescribe appropriate therapy. Since the use of the antihistamine drug Mystic can delay the healing process, the drug should not be used for more than 3-4 days in a row on the affected areas where this phenomenon occurs. In case of sunburn, apply the drug and avoid further exposure of the irritated skin to sunlight. If skin rash, irritation and burning occur, treatment should be stopped.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnant women should use the drug only in case of extreme necessity and under the supervision of a doctor.”
