Intended use:
Severe generalized psoriasis, not amenable to other conventional treatments. Adult rheumatoid arthritis, active form, with a particularly severe course, not amenable to conventional treatment. Neoplasms: acute lymphocytic leukemia, non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (including advanced lymphosarcoma, Burkitt’s lymphoma and mycosis fungoides), head and neck tumors, bronchogenic lung cancer, breast cancer, malignant chorionic epithelioma and other trophoblast neoplasms, osteosarcoma. Methotrexate can be used alone or simultaneously with other cytotoxic drugs, hormones, radiotherapy, and surgery.
Dosage:
Orally. The dose and frequency of taking the drug is determined by the doctor. Do not use in children. When using high doses of the drug, adequate hydration and alkalinization of the urine should be ensured. For the treatment to be effective and as safe as possible, follow the instructions of the treating physician. Familiarize yourself with the properties of the drug described in the leaflet before using it. Before using the drug, check the expiry date stated on the package (label). Do not use this medicine after the expiry date. Store the drug in a tightly closed container, out of the reach and sight of children, in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements. This medicine has been prescribed by your doctor to treat a specific medical condition. It should not be transferred to other people or used in other circumstances without consulting a doctor.
Inform the doctor:
If you are hypersensitive to methotrexate or any of the excipients, renal and / or liver function disorders, bone marrow disorders, severe acute or chronic infections, mouth ulcers, active gastric and / or duodenal ulcer disease, fresh surgical wounds. When taking salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, sulfonamides, diuretics, oral anti-diabetic drugs, diphenylhydantoin derivatives, penicillin, tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, para-aminobenzoic acid, barbiturates, etretinate, cotrimoxazole. In addition, you should inform your doctor about all recently taken medications, even those available without a prescription. If you are pregnant or suspect that you are breastfeeding. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Effective contraception should be used at all times during treatment with methotrexate with one of the sexual partners and for at least 3 months after stopping treatment.

Zavazna generalizovana psoriaza, ktera neni pristupna jine konvencni lecbe. Revmatoidni artritida u dospelych, aktivni forma, se zvlaste tezkym prubehem, ktera neni vhodna pro konvencni lecbu. Davkovani:
Oralne. Davku a frekvenci uzivani leku urcuje lekar. Nepouzivat u deti. Pri pouziti vysokych davek leku je treba zajistit dostatecnou hydrataci a alkalizaci moci. Aby byla lecba ucinna a co nejbezpecnejsi, dodrzujte pokyny osetrujiciho lekare. Pred pouzitim se seznamte s vlastnostmi leku popsanymi v pribalovem letaku. Pred pouzitim leku zkontrolujte datum pouzitelnosti uvedene na obalu (stitku). Nepouzivejte tento pripravek po uplynuti doby pouzitelnosti. Lek uchovavejte v tesne uzavrenem obalu, mimo dosah a dohled deti, v souladu s pozadavky vyrobce. Tento lek Vam lekar predepsal k lecbe konkretniho zdravotniho stavu. Bez porady s lekarem by se nemel prenaset na jine osoby nebo pouzivat za jinych okolnosti.

Jestlize jste precitlively(a) na methotrexat nebo na kteroukoli pomocnou latku, pri poruchach funkce ledvin a/nebo jater, poruchach kostni drene, zavaznych akutnich nebo chronickych infekcich, vredech v ustech, aktivnim vredovem onemocneni zaludku a/nebo dvanactniku, cerstvych operacnich ranach. Pri uzivani salicylatu nebo jinych nesteroidnich protizanetlivych leku, sulfonamidu, diuretik, peroralnich antidiabetik, derivatu difenylhydantoinu, penicilinu, tetracyklinu, chloramfenikolu, kyseliny para-aminobenzoove, barbituratu, etretinatu, kotrimoxazolu. Krome toho byste meli informovat sveho lekare o vsech nedavno uzivanych lecich, a to i tech, ktere jsou dostupne bez lekarskeho predpisu. Pokud jste tehotna nebo mate podezreni, ze kojite. Nepouzivat behem tehotenstvi a kojeni. Po celou dobu lecby methotrexatem s jednim ze sexualnich partneru a po dobu nejmene 3 mesicu po ukonceni lecby by mela byt pouzivana ucinna antikoncepce.
