Areas of application
The medicine is used to treat symptoms in adults hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) after a doctor has made an initial diagnosis of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis).
Hay fever, which occurs at certain times of the year, is an allergic reaction caused by inhaling pollen. from trees, grasses, as well as mold spores and fungi. The medicine reduces swelling and irritation in the nose, thereby reducing sneezing, itching, stuffiness or runny nose caused by hay fever.
Dosage
Use in adults
The usual dose is two sprays once daily.
Once symptoms are controlled, a reduced dose of 1 spray in each nostril may be sufficient as a maintenance dose.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used
if you are allergic to mometasone furoate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
if you have an untreated nasal infection. Using the product during an untreated nasal infection, such as a cold sore, may make the infection worse. You should wait until the infection has cleared up before you start using the nasal spray.
if you have recently had nasal surgery or injured your nose. You should not start using the nasal spray until your nose has healed.”
