- Extraction: Castor oil is obtained from the seeds of castor shrub. Our castor oil contains no ricin. The seed pods containing the ricin are removed before cold pressing. To extract the oil, the seeds are dried first and then cold pressed.
- The consistency of castor oil is viscous, like honey. It is clear to yellowish/brown and has a mild, unique smell.
- Not tested on animals and is vegan: Our castor oil is hexane free and ricin free.
