- DESCRIPTION:
Naproxen Aflofarm is a drug with analgesic and antipyretic effects. It belongs to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The drug contains the active substance naproxen, a derivative of propionic acid
- INDICATIONS:
Treatment of mild and moderate pain, such as:
– pain occurring in diseases of muscles and joints, such as mild forms of sprains, post-exertion damage, lumbar pain;
– painful menstruation.
- DOSAGE:
Adults and adolescents over 16 yearsOccasionally for pain relief 2 tablets (400 mg) at a time, then if necessary 1 tablet every 6 to 8 hours. Do not exceed the daily dose of 600 mg.Do not use this medicine for pain for longer than 10 days without a doctor’s explicit recommendation.Adverse effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time necessary for symptoms to subside.Use in the elderly (over 65 years)The doctor will decide whether to use the medicine in these people and determine the appropriate dose. In these people there is a greater risk of side effects, therefore lower doses should be considered.Use in childrenSafety of use in children has not been established. The medicine should not be used in children under 16 years of age.Dosage in people with impaired kidney, liver or heart functionIn people with impaired kidney, liver or heart function, a dose reduction may be necessary.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at a temperature below 25˚C.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the blister and carton.
The expiry date refers to the last day of the given month.
