Mode of action
NIKORETTE® chewing gum freely delivers nicotine when chewing, which is absorbed through the oral mucosa. Of the total amount of nicotine in chewing gum, about 50% is absorbed by the body. Accordingly, the user takes one of the 2 mg chewing gum, approximately 1 mg of nicotine, and chewing gum 4 mg, approximately 2 mg. Dosage and administration
