Application areas
The preparation contains highly purified polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids.
It belongs to the group of so-called cholesterol- and triglyceride-lowering agents.
The preparation is used
for the prevention of myocardial infarction, in addition to other standard treatment.
for the treatment of certain forms of elevated blood lipids (endogenous hypertriglyceridemia), when appropriate dietary measures alone are not sufficient.

Dosage
Dosage after a heart attack
The usual dose is 1 capsule per day.
Dosage for the treatment of high blood lipids (high blood triglycerides or hypertriglyceridemia)
The usual daily dose recommended by your doctor is 2 capsules. If the effect is not sufficient, your doctor may increase the dose to 4 capsules per day.
