Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, as well as to maintaining normal calcium levels in the blood. Instructions for use
Stir the contents of one sachet (= daily serving) into about 150–200 ml still water or fruit juice and take during or after meals.
Important information:
• OrthomolR Osteo contains carbohydrates. If glucose tolerance is impaired, use only under careful metabolic control; The carbohydrates it contains (5.4 g per daily serving) are easily accessible.
• Orthomol® Osteo contains a higher amount of potassium (1170 mg corresponds to 30 mEq/daily serving). Therefore, do not take the food supplement if you have severe renal dysfunction. The amount of potassium contained in OrthomolR Osteo does not fully cover the normal daily requirement. Additional potassium is consumed through a normal diet. OrthomolR Osteo contains vitamin K (200 mcg/daily portion) and therefore may reduce the effectiveness of coumarin-type anticoagulants (e.g. Marcoumar). If you are taking such a medicine, consult your doctor before use. It may be necessary to adjust the dosage of anticoagulants depending on the rapid value (or INR). If you are taking digitalis at the same time, please note that Orthomol® Osteo contains 1170 mg (30 mEq) of potassium.
