“The drug is used to treat pinworms in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Compound
The active ingredient of the drug is pyrantel (Pyrantelum).
1 tablet contains pyrantel 250 mg.
Excipients: potato starch, povidone, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, ethylcellulose, magnesium stearate, orange flavor.
Dosage
The drug is administered orally.
The Pyrantella OVIX tablet should be chewed or crushed thoroughly before swallowing.
Take the medicine with water. Take during or after meals.
Two to three weeks after taking the first dose, you should take another dose.
Control parasitological studies should be carried out 14 days after the end of treatment.

Action
Pyrantelum OVIX affects roundworms in the Gastrointestinal Tract. It paralyzes their muscles, so that they are removed using peristaltic movements of the intestines. The drug has no effect on the larvae during their migration through tissues.
Pyrantelum OVIX is effective against the following roundworms:
Enterobius vermicularis,
roundworm lumbricoid,
hookworm dudenale,
Nekator American,
Trichostrongylus orientalis,
Trichostrongylus colubriformis.
Indications
Enterobius vermcularis in children over 6 years of age and adults.
Contraindications
When should you not use Pyrantelum OVIX:
if you are allergic to pyrantel or any other ingredient of this medicine,
if you are taking piperazine,
if you are being treated for myasthenia gravis (a skeletal muscle disease).”
