Rhinospray Plus contains tramazoline hydrochloride as an active medicinal ingredient. This active ingredient reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa during a cold. Soon after spraying into the nose, the blocked airways are cleared again. Essential oils enhance the feeling of free nasal breathing. The effect comes on quickly and lasts for several hours. Rhinospray Plus is used to reduce swelling of the mucous membranes in acute allergic or non-allergic rhinitis. It also moisturizes hidden areas of the nasal mucosa and penetrates to the mouths of the paranasal sinuses. Rhinospray Plus should not be used if you are allergic to tramazoline hydrochloride, benzalkonium chloride or any other ingredients of the drug. If you suffer from dryness of the nasal mucosa with the formation of crusts and crusts (dry rhinitis) or increased intraocular pressure (narrow-angle glaucoma), if you have had certain operations on the brain. If you are taking certain antidepressant medications (tricyclic antidepressants or MAO inhibitors) or vasoconstrictors at the same time as Rinospray Plus, the effect on the cardiovascular system may lead to increased blood pressure. Combined use with tricyclic antidepressants may also lead to heart rhythm disturbances.
