Description

The medicine contains magnesium ions (in the form of magnesium citrate) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). The product contains lactose.

Composition

Active substances of the drug are: magnesium ions (as magnesium citrate) 100 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 10 mg, and excipients: anhydrous lactose, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate. Composition of the coating: hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc.

Action

The drug contains magnesium, which is an essential cation needed for the proper course of biochemical processes in the body. Magnesium plays an important role during cardiac contraction and also affects neuromuscular excitability. Thanks to the vitamin B6 contained in the preparation, magnesium absorption is increased by 20-40%.

Indications

Magne B6 Forte is indicated for people who may experience the following symptoms, which are a source of magnesium and vitamin B6 deficiency: muscle spasms, tingling, eyelid twitching; nervousness, mood swings, anxiety, mild fear, fatigue, mild sleep disorders, gastrointestinal spasms and palpitations (without heart disorders). Taking magnesium may reduce the above-described symptoms. However, if there is no improvement after a month of using the medicinal product, it is not recommended to continue the treatment.

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Adults: 3 to 4 tablets daily, in 2 or 3 divided doses during meals. Children and adolescents over 6 years of age (weighing about 20 kg): 2 to 4 tablets daily (10 to 30 mg/kg body weight), in 2 or 3 divided doses. Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug, severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min.)
