indication

Tramadol – the active ingredient in this preparation – is a centrally acting painkiller from the group of opioids. It achieves its pain-relieving effect by acting on specific nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain.
The medicine is used to treat moderate to severe pain.

contraindication

The preparation must not be taken
if you are allergic to tramadol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
in the event of acute poisoning from alcohol, sleeping pills, painkillers or psychotropic drugs (drugs that affect mood and emotions).
if you are taking MAO inhibitors (certain medicines used to treat depression) at the same time or have taken them within the last 14 days before treatment with the medicine.
if you suffer from epilepsy which is not adequately controlled by treatment.
as a substitute for drug withdrawal.

Dosage of TRAMABETA

Always take the preparation exactly as your doctor has told you. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of your pain and your individual sensitivity. Basically, the lowest pain-relieving dose should be chosen. Do not take more than 400mg of tramadol hydrochloride daily unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
Adults and young people aged 12 and over
1 prolonged-release tablet twice a day (equivalent to 200 mg tramadol hydrochloride/day), with it being recommended to take it in the morning and evening.
If necessary, your doctor may prescribe you a different, more appropriate dose strength of this medicine.
If necessary, the dose can be increased up to 150 mg or 200 mg twice daily (equivalent to 300 mg to 400 mg tramadol hydrochloride/day).

Indikation

Tramadol – der Wirkstoff in diesem Praparat – ist ein zentralwirksames Schmerzmittel aus der Gruppe der Opioide. Seinen schmerzlindernden Effekt erzielt es durch seine Wirkung an spezifischen Nervenzellen des Ruckenmarks und des Gehirns.
Das Arzneimittel wird angewendet zur Behandlung von ma?ig starken bis starken Schmerzen.

Kontraindikation

Das Praparat darf nicht eingenommen werden,
wenn Sie allergisch gegen Tramadol oder einen der sonstigen Bestandteile dieses Arzneimittels sind.
bei einer akuten Vergiftung durch Alkohol, Schlafmittel, Schmerzmittel oder Psychopharmaka (Arzneimittel mit Wirkungen auf Stimmungslage und Gefuhlsleben).
wenn Sie gleichzeitig MAO-Hemmstoffe (bestimmte Arzneimittel, die gegen Depressionen wirken) einnehmen oder innerhalb der letzten 14 Tage vor der Behandlung mit dem Arzneimittel eingenommen haben.
wenn Sie an Epilepsie leiden, und diese durch Behandlung nicht ausreichend kontrolliert werden kann.
als Ersatzmittel beim Drogenentzug.

Dosierung von TRAMABETA

Nehmen Sie das Praparat immer genau nach Anweisung des Arztes ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind.
Die Dosierung sollte entsprechend der Starke Ihrer Schmerzen und Ihrer individuellen Empfindlichkeit angepasst werden. Grundsatzlich sollte die geringste schmerzlindernd wirkende Dosis gewahlt werden. Nehmen Sie nicht mehr als 400mg Tramadolhydrochlorid taglich ein, es sei denn, Ihr Arzt hat dies verordnet.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die ubliche Dosis:
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren
1 Retardtablette zweimal taglich (entsprechend 200mg Tramadolhydrochlorid/Tag), wobei sich die Einnahme morgens und abends empfiehlt.
Falls erforderlich, kann Ihr Arzt Ihnen eine andere, besser geeignete Dosisstarke dieses Arzneimittels verschreiben.
Falls notig, kann die Dosis bis auf 150mg oder 200mg zweimal taglich (entsprechend 300mg bis 400mg Tramadolhydrochlorid/Tag) erhoht werden.
