Valerian Dispert is a mild sedative, also useful for improving night rest.
Composition
Active ingredients: dry extract of valerian root, prepared in 70% ethanol.
Excipients: dextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, colloidal silicon dioxide anhydrous, magnesium stearate, varnish, hypromellose, talc, light magnesium oxide, gum arabic, sucrose, povidone K25, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide, sodium carmellose, white wax. carnauba wax.
Method of administration and dosage
Children: 1-2 film-coated tablets twice a day.
Adults: 1-3 film-coated tablets three times a day.
Film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended dose. The medicine contains lactose and sucrose.

Overdose
Valerian root in a dose of about 20 g causes mild symptoms (fatigue, abdominal cramps, a feeling of slight dizziness, chest tightness, hand tremors and mydriasis), which disappear within 24 hours.
If symptoms occur, appropriate treatment should be prescribed.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the listed excipients;
generally contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Interactions
No interactions have been reported.
However, the patient is advised to consult a doctor if he is taking other medications.
Side effects
There are no known side effects that could be attributed to the use of the drug under the recommended conditions and for short periods of time.
Reporting suspected adverse reactions occurring after the registration of the medicinal product is important, as it allows for continuous monitoring of the benefit/risk balance of the medicinal product.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Since there are no data on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, its use is generally not recommended as a precaution.
