Bilobil Forte is a medicinal product based on Ginkgo biloba. Bilobil is used in impaired cerebral flow, additionally prevents platelet aggregation. Bilobil can be used in weakened memory, impaired circulation.

• Composition:

The active substance of the drug is: Ginkgo biloba L. extract, folium (ginkgo leaves) (35-67: 1) (Ginkgonis extractum siccum raffinatum et quantificatum).

1 capsule contains 80 mg of extract (in the form of quantified, purified dry extract), which corresponds to:

17.6-21.6 mg of flavonoids in the form of flavone glycosides,
2.24-2.72 mg of ginkgolides A, B and C,
2.08-2.56 mg of bilobalide.

First extraction solvent: acetone 60% (m/m).

Excipient added to the extract: spray-dried liquid glucose.

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, corn starch, magnesium stearate, talc; capsule shell substances: methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), bovine gelatin, brilliant black (E 151), patent blue V (E 131), cochineal red (E 124), sunset yellow (E 110), titanium dioxide (E 171)

weakened mental performance and memory impairment related to age,
adjunctive treatment in cerebral circulation disorders (with accompanying dizziness, tinnitus),
adjunctive treatment in limb blood supply disorders (with accompanying symptoms such as feeling cold, pain when walking).
Properties:

Bilobil Forte contains ingredients such as: flavone glycosides and terpene lactones (ginkgolide and bilobalide), which affect cerebral and limb blood flow. Improved blood flow protects cells and tissues from damage caused by oxygen deficiency and prevents mental impairment.

Dosage:

This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Bilobil Forte is taken orally.

The capsules should be taken with an adequate amount of water.
Signs of improvement usually appear after 3 weeks.
If there is no improvement or symptoms have worsened after 30 days of use, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
Bilobil treatment can be used for 3 months.

Contraindications:

in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substance or any of the ingredients of this medicine,
in children.

• Side effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

skin hypersensitivity reactions (itching, rash).

• Warnings:

The medicine is intended for adults, it is not recommended for use in children.
Use with caution in people with a tendency to bleeding – Bilobil may prolong bleeding time.
Before planned surgical procedures, inform your doctor about the use of the medicinal product.
1 capsule of the drug contains 125.4 mg of lactose and 4 mg of glucose – this should be taken into account in case of intolerance to some sugars.
The drug should not be taken after the expiry date.
Store at a temperature of up to 25º C.
