- Ginkoflav Med 80 mg is a drug indicated for use in improving cognitive functions in the elderly (age-related mental decline and memory impairment), as well as an adjunct to improving the quality of life in mild dementia.
- COMPOSITION
What does Ginkoflav Med contain
The active substance of the drug is an extract of ginkgo biloba leaves. Each capsule contains 80 mg of dry extract quantified from ginkgo biloba leaves Ginkgo biloba L., folium (35- 67: 1), corresponding to: 17.6-21.6 mg of flavonoids in terms of flavone glycosides; 2.2-2.7 mg of ginkgolides A, B and C; 2.1-2.6 mg of bilobalide. Extraction solvent: acetone 65% (v/v)
Other ingredients (excipients) are: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, capsule shell (gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), purified water).
- INDICATIONS
to improve cognitive functions in the elderly (age-related mental decline and memory impairment),
as an aid to improve the quality of life in mild dementia (dementia)
DOSE
The recommended dose for adults and the elderly is 1 capsule 3 times a day.
The capsule should be taken with liquid.
Treatment should last at least 8 weeks.
If there is no improvement after 3 months or the patient feels worse, contact your doctor.
After 3 months, consult your doctor about whether to continue the therapy.
- CONTRAINDICATIONS
if the patient is allergic to ginkgo biloba leaf extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6 of the leaflet)
during pregnancy (see section “Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility”).
The medicine is not intended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age)
