- Ibufen for children Forte with strawberry flavor is a drug in the form of an oral suspension, the active substance of which is ibuprofen. The drug has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Ibufen can be used in children over 3 months of age, adolescents and adults in the case of fever of various origins and in pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity.

Fever of various origins, also in the course of viral infections.
Pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity, also earache occurring in inflammation of the middle ear.
Composition
5 ml of suspension contains:
active substance: 200 mg ibuprofen,
excipients: hypromellose, xanthan gum, glycerol (E422), sodium benzoate (E211), liquid maltitol (E965), sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium saccharin (E954), sodium chloride, strawberry flavor, purified water.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
When determining the dose of ibuprofen, the patient’s body weight (b.w.) and age should be taken into account.
The usual single dose of ibuprofen is 7 to 10 mg per kg of body weight, up to a maximum daily dose of 30 mg per kg of body weight, divided into 3 to 4 single doses:
children weighing 5-7.6 kg (age 3-6 months): single dose of 1.25 ml (50 mg) up to 3 times a day (150 mg),
children weighing 7.7-9 kg (age 6-12 months): single dose of 1.25 ml (50 mg) up to 3-4 times a day (150-200 mg),
children weighing 10-15 kg (age 1-3 years): single dose of 2.5 ml (100 mg) up to 3 times a day (300 mg),
children weighing 16-20 kg (age 4-6 years): single dose 3.75 ml (150 mg) up to 3 times a day (450 mg),
children weighing 21-29 kg (age 7-9 years): single dose of 5 ml (200 mg) up to 3 times a day (600 mg),
children weighing 30-40 kg (age 10-12 years): single dose of 7.5 ml (300 mg) up to 3 times a day (900 mg),
children weighing over 40 kg (age over 12 years), adolescents and adults: single dose of 5-10 ml (200-400 mg mg) up to 3 times a day (600-1200 mg),
