Active ingredients
Ibuprofen 200 mg
Excipients
Ethylcellulose, Precipitated silicon dioxide, Hypromellose, Mannitol, Aspartame 15 mg, Phenylalanine, Croscarmellose sodium, Magnesium stearate, Lemon flavor
Areas of application
The medicine is used for:
Relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches and menstrual pain.
Reduction of fever
Dosage
The medicine should not be taken by children under 6 years of age.
Adult
In adults, if it is necessary to take this medicine for more than 3 days due to fever or more than 4 days due to pain, or if symptoms worsen, seek medical attention.
The recommended dose is:
Children aged 6–9 years (body weight approx. 20–28 kg)
Single dose: 1 orodispersible tablet.
Total daily dose: Initial dose: 1 orodispersible tablet (200 mg ibuprofen), then, if necessary, 1 orodispersible tablet (200 mg ibuprofen) every 6–8 hours. Do not give your child more than 3 orodispersible tablets (600 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
Children aged 10–12 years (body weight approx. 29–40 kg)
Single dose: 1 orodispersible tablet.
Total daily dose: Initially 1 orodispersible tablet (200 mg ibuprofen), then 1 orodispersible tablet (200 mg ibuprofen) every 4 to 6 hours if needed. Do not give your child more than 4 orodispersible tablets (800 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
Adolescents over 12 years and adults
Single dose: 1-2
Total daily dose: Initially 1-2 orodispersible tablets (200-400 mg ibuprofen), then 1-2 orodispersible tablets (200-400 mg ibuprofen) every 4 to 6 hours if needed. Do not exceed 6 orodispersible tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
Contraindications
You should not take this medicine
if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients in this medicine;
if you have ever suffered from shortness of breath, asthma, runny nose, swelling of the face and/or hands, or hives after taking ibuprofen, aspirin, or similar painkillers (NSAIDs);
if you have severe liver or kidney disease or weak heart muscle;
if you have or have had recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding in the past (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding);
if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation associated with therapy with non-al anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);
if you have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular hemorrhage) or other active bleeding;
if you have unexplained disorders of blood formation;
if you are severely dehydrated (caused by vomiting, diarrhea, or not drinking enough fluids);
during the last three months of pregnancy (see below).”
