Description

Indications:
short-term treatment of exacerbations of rheumatoid diseases, such as:
rheumatoid arthritis,
juvenile rheumatoid arthritis,
ankylosing spondylitis.
Contraindications:
If you are allergic to meloxicam or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
If you are hypersensitive to another medicine belonging to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), e.g. acetylsalicylic acid.
If you have experienced attacks of shortness of breath or asthma, hives, nasal polyps or angioedema while taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. acetylsalicylic acid).
If you have severe liver failure.
If you have severe kidney failure and are not receiving dialysis treatment.
If you have an active or recurrent stomach or duodenal ulcer (two or more episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding).
If you have had a cerebral hemorrhage or other bleeding, e.g. from the gastrointestinal tract.
If you have severe heart failure
